Since
1993, EduPAC has convened each Atlanta School Board election year to
evaluate, endorse and advocate for a slate of candidates for the Atlanta
Board of Education. In 2009, EduPAC registered as an independent
committee with the Georgia State Ethics Commission.
The EduPAC Board
reconvenes every four years to endorse
credible and competent candidates who will provide effective governance
to the Atlanta Public School System and to educate the public regarding
the importance of the role of school board members.
The
EduPAC Board consists of business, civic and faith-based community
stakeholders from Atlanta's most influential organizations who are
committed to promoting and advocating for qualified school board candidates
and getting them elected.
